Business Development Manager
Lomax Recruitment Group is assisting our client with the hire of a dynamic Business Development Manager to carry a quota and have the opportunity develop to leading and managing a team. You must be a high-performing BDM with a strong software sales background. You will be rewarded with the chance to sell a software solution and product to a UK wide customer base.
You must have experience selling software via phone, online and f2f when required, and experience as a team lead would be a bonus.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing your client base and proactively reaching out to ensure client satisfaction/retention while continuously hunting and closing new business to expand your territory.
You will have a history of developing and expanding current clients as well as achieving new business and personal sales quotas. You will love the challenges that come with new business prospecting in a competitive market.
Responsibilities for the Business Development Manager
Manage the entire sales cycle
Unearth new sales opportunities through existing client base and networking and turn them into long term partnerships
Present products and solutions to prospective clients
Provide after-sales support to enhance the customers’ dedication
Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs
Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data.
In the future you will lead, coach, motivate and drive the sales team to exceed sales and company goals.
Requirements for the Business Development Manager
Proven experience in Business Development and Account Management
Solid software sales experience with sales figures to back up your achievements
Fluent German with excellent communication/presentation skills and the ability to build relationships
Love the challenges that come with new business prospecting and expanding existing business in a competitive market
Passionate, enthusiastic, ambitious and loves to win
Exceptional knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
Organizational and time-management skills
A business acumen
Report and monitor sales metrics and pipelines
Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
Salary
£30000 - £40000 + OTE + benefits.
