The Company are currently looking for a Category Manager to join their Product & Purchasing Team. This role would suit someone with a commercial background in either sales account management or category management and buying within a relevant industry.

What they would like from you:

Experience in understanding B2B customer needs and use their drive and tenacity to improve category performance and drive sustainable growth. 

The ability to work closely with sales teams to build quotes, visit customers and demonstrate product ranges to enable them to win in their sector without impacting margin control.

Experience of working with Marketing and e-commerce teams to deliver compelling and innovative product, price and service offerings through digital and catalogue-based channels.

A proven ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers to ensure that you achieve the best possible price and range for them to pass on to their customers.

Analyse a wide data set or insights to determine industry and consumer trends.

Excellent prioritisation skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment with a calm and flexible approach with the needs of the customer at the heart of decision making.
